Repair Error 1324 - The
Folder Path Contains An Invalid Character
Error 1324 is an error often found during the installation
process for Windows XP users. During the installation of a
program a message will appear on screen that reads "The folder
path '***' contains an invalid character, or "The folder path
'*****' contains an invalid character."
Both of these messages are indicative of errors within the
Windows registry, and normally occur when there are additional
characters within a registry key or value.
Error 1324 though is easily fixed with the installation and
running of a good registry repair program. Most registry
cleaners are easy to use, and can be run by those with only
limited knowledge of the running of a computer. We would
recommend RegCure from ParetoLogic, as it is the market leader
within registry cleaners, and addition to the error 1324, it
will fix all other errors located within the registry.
